80+ years on from WWII, the RAF Museum London will celebrate and commemorate Britain's finest hour.
This half-term will give visitors a chance to experience an enthraling D-Day Tours, access to period specific aircraft and a new exhilirating audio tour.
The week will buld towards the Museum's fantatsic D-Day celebration weekend which include live music, swing dancing workshops, children's activities and much, much more!

Explore the varied roles of the RAF during D-Day, from bombing to recognisance and logistics. See this story come to live in the Museum’s Hangars 3, 4, 5 among iconic aircraft such as the Avro Lancaster, the Handley Page Halifax and the de Havilland Mosquito. Delivered by our expert volunteer tours guides.

This May, visitors will have unprecedented access to one of the heroes of the second World War.
The Musuem's Lockheed Hudson made some of the most underrated contributions to Britain's air attacks. never was this more true than during it's missions of carrying allied agents into and out of Nazi-occupied Europe. Visitors will be able to get up close to this glorious and be taken through a detailed history of the aircraft.
The aircraft access sessions will be 15 minutes long.
The aircraft access sessions will be running:
Saturday 25, Monday 27 and Wednesday 29 11 in Hangar 345. Upon arrival please follow the signage or ask a member of staff for directions.
Timings: Between 11:00am and 1:00pm then 2:00pm and 4:00pm
Tickets: £5
Given the popularity of this activity, pre-booking an aircraft access ticket and car-parking is highly recomended to avoid disappointment.
