Be prepared for the Summer of Fun & Flight at the RAF Museum London.
Six weeks of packed activities will see young aviators fly RC Helicopters, create their own Crazy Comic Characters, explore the depths of space and much, much more!

Calling all aspiring helicopter pilots!
This Summer, the RAF Museum will be offering the opportunity for all to hone their flying skills through its remote control helicopter scavengar hunt and time trial. To qualify for the time trail, visitors will have to scour the museum for the secret code that once provided will grant them access to the flight zone. Here visitors will navigate the course to set a time on the leaderboard.
All participants will receive a badge for their efforts and there will be a grand prize for whoever achieves the fastest time in each session.
The sessions will run:
From Wednesday 23 July to Sunday 3 August in Hangar 4's Dermot Boyle Wing. Upon arrival, please follow the signs or ask a member of staf for directions.
Timings: 11:00am, 1:00pm & 2:30pm

The RAF Museum London needs your help to re-build the Hendon RAF base.
Little construction engineers will use the LEGO provided to replicate the space where the activity is to take place as it looked until the late 1980s. We're going to need a mess hall, communication facilities, barracks, aircraft hangars. service platforms, officer's stations, a cadet training centre and much more so we'd better get cracking!

Wednesday 23 July to Sunday 3 August on the Sunderland Side of Hangar 1 Upon arrival, please follow the signs or ask a member of staff for directions.

Using the official Museum set, visitors will do battle to be crowned the champion with whoever tops the leaderboard at the end of each session winning an RAF Museum goody-bag.

The clock is ticking to solve the RAF Museum mystery!
In this interactive live experience, families will have to work together to solve the various clues from the costumed characters. Each you meet will have a unique task to complete so carefully consider who you choose to help or hinder.

Join James Parsons of Comic Club (That's the crazy guy giving you the evil eye in the thumbnail!) as he guides visitors as they create their own Biggles-inspired heroes.
During this hour long workshop, keen illustrators will learn about how to create narrative through the medium of pictorial design.
