RAF Historical Society Spring Seminar: Air Power and Culture: A Hidden Dimension
Since the formation of the RAF in 1918, the Service has had to adapt and develop its culture in response to changing threats, defence requirements and social trends. Culture has a significant impact on success or failure in war, influencing strategy, operational planning, doctrine and training. Drawing together a diverse range of insights from our speakers, members and audience, the Seminar will explore the origin of the RAF’s culture, its ongoing relevance across the RAF and the ways in which it impacts on capabilities and operations.
